Perfection in every aspect
Best mouse I've ever used, and I've used many!
All of the buttons click easily and crisply, (None of that dull thud clicking you get in a lot of cheap mice) including the mouse wheel!
I can't stand a mouse that makes it difficult to click the mouse wheel. This is caused by two things: The mouse wheel requires too much force to click, AND/OR the wheel spins too easily and instead of clicking you also scroll which can be disastrous in fast action FPS games. If you play FPS games you know what I mean.
This mouse design balances the wheel resistance and required pressure to click perfectly. No trouble clicking the mouse wheel on this thing.
Another plus is the placement of the thumb buttons. They sit directly above and below your thumb. No awkward stretching or hooking of the thumb required to reach either of the buttons.
Also, VERY easy to pick up and move due to the shape and rubber grip.
So many mice are sloped inward toward the top and outward toward the bottom. I don't know who thought that was a good idea, but it's terrible. This mouse does the opposite. Slopes outward toward the top and inward at the bottom, but slightly. Which is just enough to keep the mouse from feeling like it's going to slip out of your hand when you pick it up to reposition.
The adjustable dpi is done nicely as well. The button is flush to the surface of the mouse so there's no accidental dpi switching when you don't want it.
There are blue LED lights to indicate the dpi setting you're currently using as well as an always-on blue LED light which looks very good in low light settings.
Another thing about the ability to pick this mouse up so easily: Some mice, even those with shapes conducive to picking up easily, are heavy in the half closest to your wrist. This gives mice an awkward feel when lifting them. This mouse is well balanced and can be lifted easily whether you use the "claw" method or "palm" method of holding your mouse.
Lastly, it has a cord! No batteries or lag to be concerned with.
Ok, maybe one more thing... it looks AMAZING!
Great Gaming Mouse!
I bought this mouse after reading the only review for it, which praised it highly. I will do the very same thing, praise it highly. I needed a very economical gaming mouse, that worked well and fit my needs. This one did just that. I will try to keep this review brief, but informative. I bought this mouse for gaming, esp for 3rd and 1st person shooter type games. The size is perfect for me (mid size to large hands,) but probably too big to be a perfect fit for a child or adult with small hands. The two primary buttons (1 and 2) and both of the thumb buttons (4 and 5) have very nice, crisp click action. Very good for gaming (fast repetitive clicks w/o accidental clicks or lack of intended click,) and exactly what I was looking for. The placement of the thumb buttons is possibly the best thing about this mouse; also a rare configuration. The thumb buttons are very easy to press, are in a very comfortable position requiring very little movement with no contorting or bent thumbs, yet will very rarely if ever be accidentally pressed or not click during gaming. (I have yet to press them when I was only trying to move the mouse and press primary buttons.) The mouse roller doesn't exactly click, but it definitely goes into the (notches, clicks?) as you roll it. It is very easy to go only one notch or click in either direction while gaming, as this is important when using it to do what ever function you assigned to the up and down roll. The problem I had with many other mice is that the roll clicks are too vague and often I would roll too far and have to spend too much time and pay too much attention to get the roller to roll the right amount. If you play shooters, this can be, and usually is, disastrous. (Definitely a royal pain during any game.) The roll button (button 3) has a good pressure to it as the previous reviewer explained in detail. The only difficulty I had was while using the roller, I would sometimes press the button 3 on accident, but I mapped a function to it that kept this from being a problem. Also, a little time spent with the mouse, and I adjusted my pressure on the roller while rolling, which resulted in very rarely depressing the button 3 unintentionally. The dpi selector is nice, but only one button, so you must cycle through some or all of the five settings to get back and forth between settings during game play. Two buttons would be better, but it is an economically priced mouse, and this is a very minor issue for me. The dpi selector button has a crisp click to it as well, and there are indicator lights for the sensitivity you have currently selected, so it just takes a few more clicks to get back to your previous setting. As you click the selector, it goes from the slowest to the highest setting. I have only used this mouse for a few days, so I can't attest to long term durability, but so far I love it!
